Dover Interfaith Mission for Housing Announces Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony and Fundraiser for New Women's and Children's Shelter and Rebrand Launch
Dover, DE — October 10, 2024 — Dover Interfaith Mission for Housing is thrilled to announce a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony and Fundraiser for their new Women's and Children's shelter, Interfaith Pathway, and the rebranding of the organization. The event will take place on October 10th from 4 PM to 7 PM at 1156 Walker Rd. Dover, DE 19904, and the community is warmly invited to attend this special occasion.
Interfaith Pathway is a vital addition to Dover Interfaith Mission for Housing’s efforts to provide safe, supportive housing for unhoused women and children. This new shelter represents a significant step forward in our commitment to expanding services and addressing the unique needs of vulnerable populations in our community.
In addition to the ribbon-cutting for Interfaith Pathway, the event will also mark the official launch of Dover Interfaith Mission for Housing’s rebrand initiative. The rebrand reflects our organization’s growth and evolution as we continue to serve the Dover community with compassion and dedication.
"Our Harvest Homecoming fundraiser on October 10th is a defining moment for our organization,” said Shirlene Webster, the new Executive Director of Dover Interfaith Mission for Housing. “I am incredibly excited to be part of this transformative journey. With our rebranding and the opening of Interfaith Pathway, our new Women’s, and Children’s shelter, we are deepening our commitment to providing a safe and supportive space for those who need it most. I am grateful for the community’s unwavering support and invite everyone to join us in celebrating this new chapter together."
The ceremony will feature remarks from local leaders, a tour of the new facility, and opportunities to meet with our team and learn more about our expanded services. Guests will also enjoy food, beverages, live music, and inspiring stories from those who have benefited from our programs.
All proceeds from the fundraiser will support the ongoing operations of Interfaith Pathway and the expansion of our services to better meet the needs of those we serve. Our goal is to raise $100,000 to ensure that we can continue providing essential services and support to women and children in need.
